Dee Perry considers the local harmonies of Quire Cleveland which recently recorded variations on the theme for NPR's All Things Considered. The acclaimed a cappella group performs Carols from the Old and New Worlds this weekend at Trinity Cathedral. Plus, Dee does a bossa nova with local Brazilian singer and guitar player Moises Borges who performs in our Key Bank studio with local jazz trumpeter Kenny Davis as they spotlight their weekly gigs at both La Boca and Sergio's Sarava. Great interview!  Was fun listening to them...and every word that he said about the Kenny/Moises connection was true!  I just knew they would be fantastico together!

What a great interview! I learned a lot about Kenny and Moises by listening. Plus, I love Jobim!Moises has a beautiful voice! I cannot believe he has not been playing his whole life. Plus, he is such a peaceful cat. This is certainly not elevator music; it does, however, elevate you to a higher level! Love Sergio and love the group at Sarava.
