Processed by humans, silk can become a smooth, fluid, luxurious garment, and in the hands of an artist such as Hildur Ásgeirsdóttir Jonsson, silk becomes a glacier, a galaxy, a cloud or a quasar. Clevelanders experienced this silken transformation in an exhibition on view in 2005 at MOCA Cleveland, called “Energy Forms.” It’s creator, Hildur Jonsson, joins Dee along with fellow artist Don Harvey, with whom she had a dialogue MOCA Cleveland, as part of the exhibition.
