Dissent: Political Voices
Friday, April 22
Art elicits many responses. A beautiful landscape can make us respect nature… the sculpture of a nude woman with no head makes us ask questions… a tragic play or novel makes us cry. But even with all the emotion and the ideas that art can pull out of us… can art make us take action? This is one of the questions Spaces Gallery is asking in its latest exhibition – “Dissent: Political Voices.” And joining us now to explain is the director of Spaces – Susan Channing.
