This year Tri-C JazzFest presented the world premiere of Crossing Bridges: An Inter-Media Work of Music and Visualizations by vibraphonist and composer Cecilia Smith. Smith, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, served as an artist in residence at Tri-C where she collaborated with students and faculty on the work. She described the creative process of creating Crossing Bridges to ideastream’s Dan Polletta.
