U.S. House Passes Landmark Health Care Bill

The U.S. House voted Sunday to pass a landmark health care overhaul bill. Every Republican member of Ohio's congressional delegation voted against it. Every Ohio Democrat but one voted for it. Zack Space was the lone dissenting vote. Every other Democrat voted in favor of it. Sara Sciammacco has more from Washington.

Health care reform was an easy sell around Northeast Ohio emergency rooms Sunday afternoon -- even hours before it became reality.
"Well, of course I'm in favor of better health care -- everyone in America should be able to get the help they need," said Faith Ellis of Cleveland as she waited for an early afternoon bus outside the St. Vincent Charity Medical Center emergency room off East 22nd Street.

School Systems Differ On Value Of Bonds

A federal allocation is set to make more than $430 million in construction bonds available to Ohio school districts as part of the government's stimulus spending. The bonds are the second part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, and are specifically to finance construction or repair of schools.
