This recession brings mixed news for older workers. On the one hand, those over 45 are losing their jobs at a lower rate than younger folks. But those who do get the pink slip are finding it harder to find comparable employment. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission reported this week that age discrimination complaints were up nearly 30% last year. ideastream®'s Eric Wellman reached Cleveland attorney Ellen Simon who's spent her career prosecuting age discrimination cases.
