CLEVELAND (AP) — Cleveland's tourism bureau has picked a pair of two-minute videos to show some of the sweeter aspects of the often-maligned Lake Erie port city.

The organization, Positively Cleveland, sponsored a contest in response to local comic Mike Polk, who recently posted online two “hastily made” videos highlighting Cleveland’s downside.

Polk’s work became an Internet sensation, and he agreed to be a judge in the call for the public’s more upbeat renditions. Winners were announced Thursday.

Winners Marissa DeSantis and her cousin Kevin Hornsby concentrated on little-known places they enjoy. The second winner was Pauline Karwowski’s entry showing three small children romping throughout the city.
