Over the next decade and a half, some 78 million baby boomers will be entering their retirement years. But if you think those tens of millions of boomers will be lounging and golfing...think again. So argues Marc Freedman. He's the CEO of Civic Ventures and founder of the purpose prize. In his latest book, Encore -- finding work that matters in the second half of life, Freedman argues that boomers are changing what it means to be retired. He spoke with ideastream®'s Eric Wellman.
