Livestock Review Board Passes Almost 2 to 1.

Ohioans have approved....by nearly a two to one margin....a constitutional amendment that will establish an appointed board to oversee livestock care in Ohio.

Backers of a proposed constitutional amendment that would create a 12 member board appointed by state leaders have something to be happy about this morning.Issue 2 passed by a comfortable margin, and supports say the board that will be created will protect farmers from the Humane Society of the United States. A group they say wanted to make farming more difficult and convince people in general to become vegan. Supporters say it’s full steam ahead now to create this board.
