Barack Obama scored another key Ohio endorsement today. Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson threw his support to Barack Obama. Jackson made the announcement while introducing Obama's wife, Michelle, at a Cleveland State University rally. ideastream's Tasha Flournoy has more.
Michelle Obama said if naysayers want to question Barack Obama’s experience or his ability to lead, they need to take a closer look at his personal choices. She said her husband could have worked on Wall Street after a Harvard degree, but instead he choose to work on issues of justice.
Michelle Obama: Things like housing discrimination, employment discrimination, voting rights. Working hard in the shadows. Not looking for credit or attention, just doing the work.
The rally was Michelle Obama’s first visit to Cleveland since the primary season began in January. Her husband will be in the city Saturday at the Cleveland Convention Center.
