Cuyahoga County is launching meetings on the upcoming arts funding process. Last year marked the first time Cuyahoga County awarded arts and cultural grants in the name of economic development. As a result nine county groups, including well-known names, got some cash. And many smaller arts and cultural groups felt left out as the money was divvied up. A number of recent studies assert that minorities generally receive a lower quality of health care than do white Americans. We'll talk to our guests about why this is, what's being done about it, and get some anecdotal information on the difficulties that sometimes arise in providing health care across cultural and language lines.
