I am self-employed and pay for my own health insurance. I must say that I am somewhat reluctant to go to my doctor to see if I might be diabetic because of the health insurance ramifications. If I’m diagnosed with diabetes, it either will become prohibitively expensive, or unavailable to me. Any suggestions?
Louise 8:50 AM 7/21/09I am currently taking two medications for my diabetes, glimepride and metformin. Are ther any other medications that can be taken instead of both of these, or is this my best option.
