Live Broadcast from The Beachland Ballroom

Join ideastream's David C. Barnett and Renita Jablonski in-person and electronically to exchange ideas about how to make our ethnic diversity work for us, instead of dividing us. This broadcast features the views of historians, social service experts, economic analysts, government officials, poets, musicians and, most importantly, ordinary citizens. They will be responding to issues raised during the previous five weeks of Accents stories. Short segments from these stories, a series of guiding questions, and information on our website will set the agenda for a discussion both in the live audience and over the phone and internet lines.

Airing December 18, 2002.
