Recently, the University of Akron hosted this father of science fiction to lecture on the future of science and technology from his unique perspective as a writer. 90.3 WCPN's Dee Perry had a chance to speak with Bradbury from his home in California.

40 Years with Peter, Paul & Mary
Originally aired Thursday, April 6
For those of us old enough to remember, it's hard to believe that Peter, Paul and Mary are on the road to celebrate their fortieth anniversary. Back when the trio first hit the charts in 1961, the wave of folk music was riding high on college campuses, and coffee houses. The Weavers and the Kingston Trio had already made their mark on the record buying public, and anyone that picked up a guitar had a chance to be heard at a hootenanny. Peter, Paul and Mary came to Cleveland on April 7th to get the 40th anniversary tour underway. 90.3 WCPN's Jim Goldurs spoke with Peter Yarrow about the early days of the group.
