The kingdom has come under more pressure from its middle-eastern neighbors - and from some of its own citizens - as its government supported the United States in the Iraqi operation. ideastream's Rick Jackson spoke with the nation's Washington-based spokesman - Nail A. Take the recently opened Legacy Village Lifestyle Center in Lyndhurst, designed to simulate the look and feel of a small colonial town. But as ideastream's Rick Jackson points out, there's nothing quite like the real thing, which is what has developers in the Summit County town of Hudson going the extra mile to preserve a heritage that dates back 200 years.

Council on American-Islamic Relations Holds Fundraiser

The Ohio chapter of America's largest Islamic civil liberties group hosted its second annual dinner and fundraiser this past weekend. Hundreds gathered at the Renaissance Hotel on Public Square to support the local efforts of CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations. ideastream's Tasha Cook has this report.

Peggy Gish Interview

For more than a year now, seemingly every national newscast carries word of Iraq. Yet, many people still don't know that much about the Middle-Eastern Nation. Peggy Gish of Athens wasn't going to allow herself to be one of those people. She wanted to know what their suffering entailed and wanted to help them. So, in the past 18 months - 11 of them in Iraq - she has worked to assist Iraqis. But what this Southern Ohioan never anticipated was being witnesses to the results of atrocities which now dominate headlines: the alleged abuses committed by American soldiers. Gish met with ideastream's Rick Jackson last week, just before she spoke to a group of students at Bedford's St. Peter Chanel High School as part of the Wheels of Justice program.
