All eyes tonight will be on the Democratic presidential debate held at Cleveland State University, but another candidate is trying to get Ohio's attention too. Senator John McCain. For the first time in nearly 50 years, the average American adult has a cholesterol level below 200, according to a report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The sub-prime housing crisis has lead to layoffs of employees by the thousands at mortgage companies across the country, including 845 lost jobs in Ohio in 2007. That's according to a study by Mortgage Daily dot com. Tomorrow it’s the Cleveland version of Obama vs. Clinton and the event is turning out to be quite a showdown. Their last debate in Texas ended on a high note of plesantries, particularly by Senator Clinton who expressed great honor at being able to share the stage with Senator Obama. But, during a weekend of campaign stops throughout Ohio, Clinton blasted Obama’s campaign tactics which she likened to that of Republicans. Cleveland City Council Considers Coal

The City of Oberlin this week voted against a proposal to buy a stake in a planned coal-fired power plant in Southern Ohio. Cleveland faces the same decision.
