We've heard the calls for regional cooperation before from select politicians, and on the editorial pages of the Plain Dealer. Still, real progress on the collaboration front is plodding at best. Now the Fund for Our Economic Future is hoping to give the effort a boost. It's offering communities money for economic development projects. There's just one catch.The projects have to be collaborative in nature. The Fund's Chris Thompson told ideastream®'s Eric Wellman that the public will decide on the winning projects.
Classrooms Meet Game Shows with “Clickers”

Teachers know the look: the blank, spaced out stare. What are they thinking? Hard to know. Well, technology to the rescue. Professors at Cleveland State are among those incorporating little keypads - commonly called clickers - into the classroom. Each student gets one. Clickers let students respond instantly - and anonymously - to question the teacher poses. ideastream®'s Dan Bokoff went to see them in action.
