Across the United States each year, more than 1 million people develop skin cancer. It's among the most common cancers for young people who spend lots of time in the sun or on tanning beds. One state lawmaker is hoping to make it much more difficult for the younger set to get an artificial tan. Republican Courtney Combs of Hamilton wants to require people under 18 obtain a doctor's prescription before getting under the U-V lights.
