You'll still have to pay them, of course, but on the Sound of Ideas we'll talk with a pair of tax specialists who might make the whole process a little bit easier, or at least a bit more comprehensible. Cuyahoga County has a large partnership of groups that offer FREE tax preparation for families making $40,000 or under. They are also doing free returns for people on social security and disability who want to file and claim $0 income returns for the economic stimulus packages. For free tax advice seniors and families can call 2-1-1, First Call for Help for a site nearest to them, or visit the website www.refundohio.org.
