That would have been enough, but then, there's also the trial of the teen who shot her, her former boyfriend. As she told Plain Dealer reporter Rachel Dissell, "When he actually pleaded guilty, it was more of a relief in my heart than anything else." On the program, we'll talk to Dissell and photographer Gus Chan who spent much of the last six months in operating rooms and by hospital beds, chronicling Orozco's journey. We'll talk with Marschall about his reasons for donating and how it inspired his daughter to donate her kidney to her ailing uncle. Now, of course, none of this would be necessary were it not for a huge shortage of available organs and a correspondingly massive waiting list. We'll also be joined by a pair of surgeons who work on transplants every day. We'll find out why waiting lists are so long, how they work to prioritize the sick and dying and what could be done to alleviate the problem. You're invited to join us with your questions.
