The latest installment of A QUIET CRISIS features six prominent leaders from Northeast Ohio gathered to explore the critical link between local leadership and economic prosperity. A QUIET CRISIS: Leadership will simulcast on WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN® Thursday, January 31 at 8 p.m. The program is repeated Sunday, February 3 at 4 p.m. and Tuesday, February 5 at 11 p.m. on WVIZ/PBS, and Wednesday, February 6 at 8 p.m. on 90.3 WCPN®. Special coverage will appear in the Forum section of the Sunday edition of The Plain Dealer on February 3rd.

Panel participants include Jane Campbell, Mayor, City of Cleveland; Don Plusquellic, Mayor, City of Akron; Mal Mixon, Chairman & CEO, Invacare; John Ryan, Executive Secretary, Cleveland AFL-CIO; David Bergholz, Excutive Director, The George Gund Foundation; and Brian Hall, Chairman & CEO, Industrial Inventory Solutions. Plain Dealer reporter Joe Frolik moderates the panel discussion. Dave Pignanelli, Director of News and Information for ideastream is the program host.

A QUIET CRISIS is an on-going, multimedia project involving WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN® ideastream and The Plain Dealer. The goal is to better inform viewers, listeners and readers about how the region's economy affects their lives.
