Earning
Best of Show recognition for Best Documentary in
the radio division in the 70th National Headliner Awards, Still
Cookin’ was given rave reviews by the judges.

stunning mix of music, natural sound, interviews and writing; this
anniversary tribute to Hank Williams is a fine piece of very creative
journalism as well as entertaining radio. Williams would be proud,"
judges said.
Founded
in 1934 by the Press Club of Atlantic City, the National Headliner
Awards program is one of the oldest and largest annual contests
recognizing journalistic merit in the communications industry.
The
first National Headliner Awards were presented in 1935. Since then,
more than 1,600 Headliner medallions have been presented to outstanding
writers, photographers, daily newspapers, magazines, graphic artists,
radio and television stations and networks, and news syndicates.

Hank
Williams: Still Cookin’ earns the highest distinction
in The Communicator Awards - an Award of Excellence. The Award of
Excellence is given to those entries whose ability to communicate
puts them among the best in the field.
The
Communicator Awards is an international awards program
founded by communications professionals to recognize excellence
in the communications field.

Federation of Community Broadcasters Golden Reel Awards |
Hank
Williams Still Cookin’ was recognized with a
Golden Reel Award in the category of Local Music/Entertainment Program
or Special.
The Golden Reels are given by community
radio's sole national organization, The National Federation of Community
Broadcasters (NFCB), to community radio producers. The Award recognizes
outstanding and creative uses of the medium for community radio
broadcasters, station-based and independent producers.
