A Local and National Resource: Network of Care

There is such a thing as "too much information." When faced with mental or behavioral health issues, it is hard to know where to turn and what to believe. Complicating the situation, the mental health service industry is somewhat fragmented and decentralized. Network of Care, developed in California and launched in 2003, was created to address this problem.

Network of Care's premise is simple - provide a user-friendly, "one-stop" Web site that is an in-depth resource for individuals, families and agencies concerned with mental health and substance abuse. It includes information about mental health and substance abuse services, laws, and related news, as well as communication tools and other features.

Four counties in Northeast Ohio have launched local versions of this site. Links to these sites are below.

The information found on these sites is relevant whether you are resident of these counties or live somewhere else in Northeast Ohio. You can also reach the national site by clicking here.

The phrase "knowledge is power" is especially true for those suffering from mental and behavioral illnesses. Explore the Network of Care Web sites to learn more.
